Burano and Torcello were the highlights for me of our trip and field course in May 2010. But especially Torcello… to actually be in a cathedral from the 12th century … I could have spent all day just there…and our students (geography, planning and architecture students from Canada) were simply in awe.
Burano was the highlight of my trip to Venice last Fall. I am returning this October and plan to spend a full day in Burano!
