It’s not “whom” inspired me to visit Italy, as much as “what”. The what’s were two movies, “A Room with a View”, and “Enchanted April”. After viewing those movies, my wanderlust for Italy was born.

The history of my family begins in Italy all the ancestors and their love of home, food and family.

The Four Seasons – so Vivaldi, he makes me happy, we have had his music at my daughters wedding in Venice and celebrated the renewal of our Silver Wedding Vows with his music.

I am transported the minute I hear to the magical place of dreams..

My husband… before I met him I was fascinated by France. The first time he took me to Italy I fell in love with Venice and the Dolomites. I remember when I stepped out of the train station in Venice, I felt like I was in a dream – it was so surreal – finally in the place I had read about and seen in movies, it didn’t seem real. I’ve been hooked ever since!
