		<description>I think not...but perhaps that is the motive behind renaming the varietal to glera, so then anyone who cultivates it can no longer call it Prosecco? That would make sense (even though it makes my head hurt).</description>

		<description>Hi, thanks for quoting ;) Now that Prosecco is DOCG all the area of production will take advantage, for sure: winemakers, wine tourism, food, ... It is quite interesting, we will see for the prices too. 

But, the strategy of the Consortium which protects Prosecco is to delete the name &quot;Prosecco&quot; from the DOCG in small stages in the future. This because Prosecco is the name of a variety and it can be cultivated everywhere in the world. This creates a strange conflict with the real Prosecco zone of Conegliano Valdobbiadene in Veneto. 

I think in the future the DOCG could be only &quot;Conegliano Valdobbiadene&quot; and nothing else. Do you think that a foreigner could recognize it like a Prosecco wine? I think ...no!</description>
