Nan, I came by to see what you were up to in Venice these days only to find you in my neck of the woods, West Clare! I was in Venice the last week of April and still want to be reborn as a Venetian. Lucky woman you are to live there.

If you do come back aim for the end of August, early September - generally this is the best time weatherwise.

Even in this crappy summer we have been blessed with good weather from the last week of August to date…
